Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Burbank Brawler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Canadian Zombie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Burbank Brawler has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Burbank Brawler seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brawler pushes Zombie up against the ropes in a clinch.

Brawler has clasped his hands together around Zombie's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Zombie regains half guard, as Brawler was trying to land strikes.
Zombie is trying to stand up here but Brawler is controlling him well.
Brawler wants to pass to mount but Zombie is defending the position.
Brawler is trying to control the action in half guard but Zombie is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Brawler is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Zombie is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Zombie looks like he's trying to stand up.
Zombie avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Brawler.
Zombie is trying to control but can't.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Zombie gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Brawler.
Zombie tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Brawler holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Brawler keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Zombie's efforts to push away.
Brawler digs a right hand underneath Zombie's ribcage. Zombie let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Brawler wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Brawler escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Canadian Zombie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Zombie stuffs the takedown attempt from Brawler. Brawler gets slowly back to his feet.
Zombie tries to clinch but Brawler is having none of it.

Brawler drives through and clinches with Zombie against the ropes.

Zombie breaks the clinch.
A jab from Brawler misses.

Brawler has taken the fight to the clinch.
Brawler is trying to break the clinch but Zombie is controlling him.
Brawler drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Zombie gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Brawler wants to get back to striking at distance but Zombie won't allow it.
Brawler is trying to break the clinch but Zombie is controlling him.
Zombie tries to circle away but Brawler has him pinned against the ropes.
A frustrated look appears on Brawler's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Zombie escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brawler swats away the attempt to clinch by Zombie.
Brawler swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Zombie throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Brawler shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Burbank Brawler. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brawler seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Zombie shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Brawler is backing up but Zombie catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Brawler covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Zombie Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
