Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Austin Aaron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Arnold!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Aaron.
Arnold tries to bum rush Aaron with a series of wild strikes but Aaron uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Aaron closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Arnold striking from the bottom but nothing landed.

Aaron working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Aaron wants to stand but Arnold has his arm trapped.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Arnold can do anything to dispel that myth.
Arnold tries to buck Aaron off but Aaron is having none of it.

Arnold throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Aaron looks for a takedown but Arnold sprawls well.
Aaron throws a body punch but Arnold moves out of range.

Arnold looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Aaron wants to sweep but Arnold has passed to side control!
Aaron is trying to improve his position.
Arnold looks up at the clock and then as Aaron takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Arnold smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Arnold is looking to take a break and control but Aaron is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Arnold lands an elbow.
Arnold lands a nice forearm strike.
Arnold has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Aaron is looking for a sweep.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Aaron takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Arnold looks up at the clock and then as Aaron takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Arnold smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!


Aaron is rocked!

Arnold lands a few punches from side control.
Oh Aaron is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Arnold scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Aaron is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Arnold can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Arnold!
