The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dundee avoids the body shot from Laak.

Laak closes the distance and clinches.
Dundee tries to pull guard but Laak holds him up against the cage and eventually Dundee drops back down to his feet.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Laak.
Laak on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Laak scores with a shot to the side of Dundee's head.
Dundee tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Laak just stands there and leans against the cage.
Nice body punch from Laak.
Dundee fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mick Dundee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dundee wants to get back to striking at distance but Laak won't allow it.

Laak breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Laak stalks Dundee and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dundee's face. Dundee staggers backwards, shaken.
Dundee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Laak as he jumps to the side.

Laak swings for the body but Dundee moves out of range.
Dundee steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Laak.

Dundee shoots in looking for a takedown. Laak tries to sprawl out of it but Dundee keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Laak manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Laak keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Dundee fails to land the takedown.
Dundee pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Laak looks to land a left hand but Dundee moved out of range nicely.
Laak misses with a looping left.

Laak swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dundee.

and Laak counters with a nice body shot.

and Laak counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Dundee takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Laak closes the distance and pushes Dundee back into the cage.
Laak keeps control of Dundee as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Laak unloads a knee to the mid-section. Dundee lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Dundee is breathing heavily.
Laak lands a body shot in the clinch.
Laak makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Laak prevents the takedown attempt.

Laak works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
