And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garris moves out of range of the body kick from Droopy.
Garris fails to land the takedown.
Garris tries to clinch up.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Droopy.
Garris takes one to the chin there.
Garris stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Garris wants it to stay on the feet.

Garris gets in close and instigates a clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Droopy shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Droopy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Garris is one step ahead there.

Rex Garris showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Garris throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Droopy.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Garris. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Garris fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Droopy sprawls well initially but Garris persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Droopy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Garris is working away from the top position though.
Droopy is refusing to be controlled, as Garris sits in half guard.

Garris is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Droopy will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Garris is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Droopy has escaped the position, nice work there.
You can see the frustration on Droopy's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Droopy wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Droopy gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Rex Garris comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Garris has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
