Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between James Laurent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Monageng Keletso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laurent kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Megadeth - Symphony of Destruction. James Laurent has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Monageng Keletso!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laurent moves out of range of the strikes.
Keletso looks to land a right hand but Laurent moved out of range.
Keletso takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Keletso takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Nice jab there from Laurent.
Nice takedown defense from Laurent. No joy for Keletso on that attempt.
Keletso throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
The fighters circling - Laurent throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Laurent blocks a jab.
Keletso walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Laurent checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Keletso connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Keletso fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Laurent avoids it really well and circles away.
Laurent scores with a crisp jab that stopped Keletso in his tracks.
Laurent tries to bum rush Keletso with a series of wild strikes but Keletso uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Keletso shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Laurent is trying to defend but Keletso finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Keletso looks to land a strike but Laurent avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Keletso slips nicely into half guard.
Laurent won't allow Keletso to pass to mount.
Keletso working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Laurent's thigh. Laurent counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Laurent is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Keletso postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Laurent kicks Keletso off and gets to his feet.
Laurent scores with a hook.
Good leg kick by Keletso there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Laurent misses with a wild combination.
Keletso throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
The fighters circling - Keletso throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Laurent gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Keletso jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Keletso shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Laurent as he avoids it easily.
James Laurent has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Monageng Keletso.
Keletso scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Laurent with a jab.
Keletso just misses with a punch to the body.
Laurent ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Laurent has closed the distance and engaged Keletso in a clinch.
Keletso misses with a punch on the inside.
Laurent prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three minutes gone in the round.

Keletso's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Keletso falls off balance throwing a combination
and Laurent counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Keletso looks gassed!
Laurent fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Keletso looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Keletso throws a sloppy head kick and Laurent moves out of range easily.
Laurent's corner calls for a 1-2. Laurent obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Monageng Keletso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Keletso throws a sloppy body shot
and Laurent counters with a straight right hand.
Laurent misses with a looping left.
Laurent connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Laurent is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Laurent throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Laurent moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Keletso is rocked!
Laurent comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Keletso is still on wobbly legs! Can Laurent finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Keletso loses concentration momentarily and Laurent pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Keletso crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Laurent finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). James Laurent!
