Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vekkuli Toveri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Williams might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kings of Leon - Sex on Fire. Vekkuli Toveri is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Toveri misses its intended target.
Toveri throws a nice looking combination but Williams bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Williams avoids the head kick by Toveri.
Williams dodges the punch combination from Toveri.
Toveri throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
A good leg kick by Toveri.
A combination from Williams does no damage.
Toveri throws a head kick that misses.
Some wild striking there from Toveri.
Toveri rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Williams moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Toveri fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Williams manages to avoid it.
Toveri misses with a double jab
and Williams counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Toveri throws a leg kick

and Williams counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Williams.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Williams trying to move into half guard but instead Toveri has managed to sweep!

Toveri has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Williams is proving hard to escape from.

Williams is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Toveri has his hands clasped together but Williams extends an breaks Toveri's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Williams.
