Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jess Liaudin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aldo Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lopez has chosen Avenged Sevenfold - Nightmare as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Aldo Lopez is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Aldo Lopez!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liaudin closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lopez did well to prevent Liaudin getting side control.
Liaudin tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lopez knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Liaudin throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lopez was covering up waiting for the punch and Liaudin finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Liaudin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lopez sprawls well initially but Liaudin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Liaudin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lopez is just riding it out for now. Liaudin eventually gives up the hold.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Liaudin is defended easily by Lopez.
Liaudin shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Liaudin was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Liaudin moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Lopez has worked his arm free - good work by Lopez!

That was a close second round but I would say that Jess Liaudin will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Lopez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Liaudin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lopez has managed to get both his arms back between Liaudin's legs - danger averted.

Liaudin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lopez tries to avoid it but Liaudin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lopez to the ground. Lopez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Liaudin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Liaudin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lopez is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jess Liaudin.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Liaudin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
