Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between No Fear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Becker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Becker is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Era - Enae volare mezzo. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, No Fear!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Fedor Becker!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Becker closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fear did well to prevent Becker getting side control.

Becker is working for a kimura but Fear is defending it quite comfortably.
Fear keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Becker is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Fear keeping control of the position.

The fighters are battling for position here. Fear manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Fear controls Becker momentarily but Becker frees himself.
Fear looking to hit a scissor sweep but Becker is one step ahead there.
Fear thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Becker trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Becker trying to control but Fear is working from the bottom.
Becker loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Fear darts in and clinches Becker up against the cage.
Fear is trying to break the clinch but Becker is controlling him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Fear pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Becker shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fear sprawls well. Fear wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Becker gets slowly back to his feet.

Fear scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Fear landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Fear decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Fear doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Becker counters with a shoot takedown. Fear fights it but they end up in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Becker looks gassed!
Fear is trying to control the position but Becker postures up.

Becker drops back looking for a leg! Fear is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fear manages to kick Becker off! Becker jumps back into Fear's guard.
Fear is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fear has his hands on Becker's head, controlling the position.
Fear wants to stand and escape but Becker is having none of it.

Fear throws his legs up looking for a submission but Becker uses it to pass to side control.
Becker is working Fear over with some ground and pound from side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Fear gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Becker lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Fear hang on?
Becker landing strikes from the mount and Fear is in trouble!
Fear tries to lock up and control but Becker gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Becker lands a big shot there that rocks Fear but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Becker avoids the attempt from Fear to control.

Becker is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Fear has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Fear!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fear trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fedor Becker dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Becker avoids the body shot from Fear.
Fear wants to clinch.
Fear throws a sloppy head kick

so Becker counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Becker stops Fear from standing up.
Becker with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Becker trying to control the position from guard on top but Fear is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Becker throws a big right hand that misses.

Becker drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Becker jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Becker has gone for a leg lock! Fear slips out almost immediately though and dives into Becker's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fear is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Becker is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fear is aware though and is defending well.
Fear passes Becker's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Fear is nestled in close to Becker, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Becker actively working from the bottom here.
Fear wants to get back to his feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Fear is trying to control. Becker wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Fear gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Becker counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Fear!
Becker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Fear tries to buck Becker off but he can't manage it.

Becker is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Becker extends the arm and Fear is forced to tap!
