The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lesnar shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Knight napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Knight manages to get back to half guard.
Knight makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Knight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lesnar postures up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lesnar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Knight darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Knight lands a nice hook to Lesnar's body. Lesnar takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Knight loads up on a big right hand but Lesnar slips the punch.
Lesnar steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Knight.
Knight connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lesnar momentarily.

Lesnar throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Knight sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Knight takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Lesnar throws a body punch but Knight moves out of range.

Lesnar dives in and grabs Knight's left leg, looking for a takedown. Knight pushes down on Lesnar's head and hops out.
Knight lands a jab to Lesnar's midsection.

Lesnar throws a shot from downtown. Knight moves away and avoids it.
Knight uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lesnar.
A jab from Knight misses.
Lesnar looks to score with a jab to the body but Knight is just out of range.
Knight misses with a two punch combination.
Lesnar moves forwards but Knight connects with a nice, crisp jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lesnar misses with an uppercut.
Knight bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lesnar's head backwards.
Lesnar throws a lazy right hand but Knight sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Lesnar gets the takedown into side control.
Knight is looking to regain half guard here but Lesnar keeps moving and retains side control.
Sloppy strikes there by Lesnar.
Knight is looking for a sweep.
You can see the frustration on Knight's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Lesnar is chipping away with strikes.

Lesnar tries to score with some ground and pound. Knight controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Lesnar! Knight is hurt baaadly! Lesnar is firing away with more strikes - Knight is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
