I think Sanchez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Gladiator Main Theme. yii kuu acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
kuu tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sanchez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten kuu somewhat.

and kuu counters with a right hand to the body.

and kuu holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

kuu shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sanchez is trying to defend but kuu finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
kuu is trying to control. Sanchez wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

kuu looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Sanchez is staying active underneath kuu, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

and kuu counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Sanchez's guard now.

Sanchez is looking to sinch up a triangle. kuu throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Sanchez's body to avoid the submission. Sanchez has instead reached around kuu's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Sanchez arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
