Congo's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, After the Smoke is Clear. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morris lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Congo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Morris finds it's way round the side to connect with Congo's head.
Morris throws a push kick but Congo slaps the foot to one side.

A looping hook to the body misses from Congo. Morris does a little dance to reset his feet.
Congo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Morris connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Morris drops Congo with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Congo looks back up at him and smiles so Morris waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

and Morris lands a stunning uppercut that sends Congo to the mat!

and Morris counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Congo thinking.
Ghengis Congo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

enabling Morris to counter with a crisp jab.
Morris stalks Congo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Congo's face. Congo staggers backwards, shaken.
Morris has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Congo tries to clinch but Morris is having none of it.
Congo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Morris counters with an inside leg kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Morris lands a big head kick that sends Congo tumbling to the mat! Morris takes a step backwards and waves Congo back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
