The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St James dodges the punch combination from Nowicki.
St James ducks under a wild hook from Nowicki.

Nowicki gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Nowicki breaks from the clinch.
St James throws a hook to the side of Nowicki's head but Nowicki sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
St James doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
No joy there for St James, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nowicki tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but St James paws at him with a jab and circles away.
St James will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
St James misses with a hook. Nowicki ducked under it nicely.
St James rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nowicki moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Nowicki moves into range and clinches up with St James.

Nowicki connects with a superb combination that knocks St James out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Nowicki before he can land any more shots to the unconscious St James!
