Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Donald Draper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shaun Sunny!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jorge Garcia and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Draper. No joy for Sunny on that attempt.
Draper has his takedown stuffed

and Sunny counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sunny.
Sunny trying to control the position from guard on top but Draper is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sunny advances to half guard.

Sunny is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Draper defends it well.
Draper tries to roll over but Sunny keeps him under control.
Sunny thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Draper's head.

Sunny is trying to work for a kimura but Draper is defending well.
Draper tries to kick Sunny off but Sunny keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Sunny works his way into side control.
Draper knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sunny on the ground.

Sunny is working Draper over with some ground and pound from side control.
Draper is trying to get back to half guard.
You can see the frustration on Draper's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Draper is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Sunny asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Sunny lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Draper can't do much from the bottom here.
Sunny in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Sunny wants to lay and pray for a moment but Draper keeps working.
Sunny moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Draper is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sunny tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sunny has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Sunny tries for a kimura but Draper is defending well.

Draper is not content to let Sunny control the position.
Draper wants to control but Sunny postures up.
I wouldn't like to be where Draper is right now.
Sunny wants to control but Draper is keeping him busy.

Sunny decides to stand back up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Sunny pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Sunny throws a jab but it's blocked by Draper.
Draper shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sunny as he jumps to the side.

and Draper counters with a takedown into side control.
Draper landing strikes.
Sunny stops Draper from passing to mount.
Draper lands some shots froms side control.
Draper lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Sunny is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Draper is controlling him well.
Sunny is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Draper lands with a punch from half guard.

Draper is looking for a kimura but Sunny is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Draper to get the leverage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Shaun Sunny will probably get the nod.
That's time! Draper's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Sunny shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Draper napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Draper prevents Sunny from improving position.
Draper holds on to Sunny's head and controls the position momentarily.
Sunny throws a strike aimed at the side of Draper's head but Draper avoids it well.
Draper is trying to get back to his feet.
Sunny is looking to take a break and control but Draper is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Draper tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sunny wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Draper manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Sunny passes to side control.
Draper is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Sunny has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Sunny in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Draper regains half guard there - taking advantage of Sunny's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Sunny lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The fighters are battling for position here. Draper manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Draper is trying to keep Sunny in close.
Sunny works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Sunny is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Draper to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

Sunny is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Draper is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Draper has escaped and now he's on top!

Sunny takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Sunny is pushing Draper's head away, looking to escape. Draper manages to hold on to the position though.

Sunny takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Draper cracks Sunny with a big right hand but Sunny just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Draper cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Draper is working for a guillotine from mount but Sunny frees his head quite easily.
Draper lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Sunny hang on?
Sunny is bucking up trying to escape but Draper cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sunny wants to control but Draper is having none of it.
Sunny tries to reverse the position but Draper maintains control.

Sunny sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Donald Draper showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Draper has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
