Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Apollo Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clay French (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Apollo Creed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clay French!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creed thuds his right hand into French's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

It looks like Clay French has been cut.
Creed lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Creed throws a series of strikes that have French backpedaling.
Creed misses with a straight left.
Creed connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed French momentarily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
French bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Creed misses the jab.
French keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Creed throws a nice looking combination but French bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Creed swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Creed misses with a hook. French ducked under it nicely.
Creed keeps the fight on the outside.
Creed lands a jab.
Creed swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
French swings for the body but Creed moves out of range.
French throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Creed's waist but Creed gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing French off to one side.
Creed connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
French jabs Creed right on the nose. Creed blinks but takes it well.

Creed feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends French sprawling to the canvas! French rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Creed finish him?!

French is rocked!
Creed drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks French right on the button. French goes down! Creed follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Creed gets the win via TKO!
