Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shinya Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Payette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Payette has chosen Sick Puppies- Youre Going Down as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Payette rushes Aoki and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Payette lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

It looks like Shinya Aoki has been cut.

Aoki got a little sloppy there for a moment and Payette has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Aoki has managed to get both his arms back between Payette 's legs - danger averted.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Payette jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Aoki is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Aoki and Payette has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

and Aoki takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Payette gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Payette takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Well Payette has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
