The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woodring throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Woodring fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Petrov manages to avoid it.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Petrov shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Woodring manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Petrov tries to pass to full mount but Woodring defends it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Woodring throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Petrov looks to land a left hand but Woodring moved out of range nicely.
Woodring bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A close second round but Dimitri Petrov will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
