Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ty Webb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machida's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, the dragon. The crowd seem to be enjoying Webb's choice of entrance music: I'm Alright. Ty Webb looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Machida stuffs the takedown attempt from Webb. Webb gets slowly back to his feet.
Webb tries to clinch but Machida is having none of it.

Webb gets the takedown into side control.
Webb is looking to take a break and control but Machida is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Webb fails with an attempt to clinch.
Webb tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Machida paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Machida could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Machida closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Webb to the mat! Webb manages to get full guard.

Webb throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Webb throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Machida escapes and throws Webb's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Webb is trying to improve his position.
Webb throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Webb sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Webb has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Machida is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Webb tries to roll over but Machida keeps him under control.
Machida moves into full mount! Webb won't be happy about that!

Webb fails with the takedown

and Machida counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Webb tries to get to full guard but Machida has control of the leg.

Machida throws a push kick but Webb slaps the foot to one side.
Webb wants to clinch but Machida slips to the side

and Machida decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Webb's guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

and Machida counters with a single leg into guard. Webb didn't expect that.

Machida stands and steps away. Webb gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Machida stalling away here and it's allowed Webb to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Webb is on top in guard.

Machida pushes Webb off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Webb closes the distance looking to clinch

and Machida counters by moving into the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A nice right hand lands inside from Machida.

Machida has hold of one of Webb's legs. Webb is fighting the takedown attempt but Machida gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Machida seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Webb for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Machida tries to land knees in the clinch but Webb avoids the damage to the body.
Webb tries to pull guard but Machida holds him up against the cage and eventually Webb drops back down to his feet.

Machida is trying to trip Webb. He has hold of a leg but Webb is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Machida persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Machida is pushing down on Webb's leg trying to pass to half guard. Webb is fighting to maintain full guard but Machida has managed to sneak the leg through.
Webb makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Webb.
Webb is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Webb has his feet on Machida's thighs here. He's pushed Machida off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Machida screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
