Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Phill Pantera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roscoe Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Phill Pantera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roscoe Jones!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pantera lands a head kick. Jones smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Pantera leaves Jones with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Pantera stuffs the takedown attempt from Jones. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.
Pantera feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jones's calf.
Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Pantera, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Pantera against the cage but Pantera circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Phill Pantera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roscoe Jones.
Jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pantera pinned against the cage. Pantera gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jones fails with the takedown.
Pantera connects with a solid leg kick.
Pantera scores with a kick to the midsection.
Pantera thows a body kick. Jones tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Jones looks gassed!

Pantera shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jones's guard.
Pantera controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Pantera knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.

Jones is looking for a triangle but Pantera pushes his legs off easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pantera manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jones has Pantera in his guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Pantera changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jones looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Jones is trying to get back to half guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

so Pantera counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Phill Pantera dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Pantera closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jones did well to prevent Pantera getting side control.
Phill Pantera overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Jones had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pantera defends it easily.

Pantera's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Pantera got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pantera has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted.

and Pantera makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Jones really felt that one!

Well Pantera has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
