Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Home Grown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Silva's choice of entrance music: Almost Famous - Eminem. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Grown circles away quickly and effectively.
Silva jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Silva misses with a low kick.
Grown takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Grown moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Silva steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Grown.
Good exchange - Grown coming out on top.
It looks like Paulo Silva has been cut.
Silva pivots, looking for a leg kick but Grown is out of range and Silva settles back down.
Grown throws a combination that misses
and Silva counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Grown displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Silva.
Silva throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Grown as he jumps to the side.
Silva tries to clinch but Grown moves out of range.
Grown swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Silva steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Grown.
Silva gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Silva jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Grown walks away with a smile on his face. Silva gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Home Grown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paulo Silva.

Silva is trying hard to land a takedown here. Grown sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Grown thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Silva if he has to take too many more of those.

Grown bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Silva's head backwards.

Silva is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Grown pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Grown lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Silva backwards.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.
A nice right hand lands inside from Grown.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Grown takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Silva escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Danga de danga de dang - Grown scores with a four punch combination!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Grown, right into the meat.
Grown steps into range and cracks Silva with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Silva flops backwards and Grown dives into his guard looking to finish!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Grown throws a big right hand that misses.
Grown postures up in Silva's guard and throws a big left but Silva blocks it.
Grown working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Silva looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Grown has picked Silva up and slammed him! Silva can't keep hold of the triangle and Grown manages to pass to side control!
Silva is not content to let Grown control the position.
Silva is looking for a sweep.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Grown is keen to just control but Silva is a slippery customer.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Grown misses with a hook. Silva ducked under it nicely.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Grown.
Grown lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Silva sprawling to the canvas. Grown follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Silva hang on?
