Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vory shoots in looking for a takedown. Van Beatten tries to sprawl out of it but Vory keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Van Beatten manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Van Beatten has taken the fight to the clinch.

Vory shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Vory showed some decent athleticism there.

Vory is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Van Beatten defends it well.

Vory is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Van Beatten is just riding it out for now. Vory eventually gives up the hold.

Vory is stalling here. Van Beatten is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Vory seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Van Beatten has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Vory tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Van Beatten wants to get back to his feet but Vory is dominant here and he's now got Van Beatten's back!
Vory is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Vory gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Vory gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Vory apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Vory tries to close the distance and clinch up but Van Beatten swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Vory shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

and Vory counters with a nice double leg into side control. Van Beatten won't be happy with that.

Vory thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vory wants to control but Van Beatten is keeping him busy.
