Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Duffy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Walters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duffy looks to throw the jab but Walters is out of range.
Duffy shoots for a double leg takedown but Walters sprawls well. He's pushed Duffy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Duffy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Walters swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Walters circles away from the clinch attempt.
Walters rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Duffy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Walters throws a hook but Duffy avoids it easily.

Walters lands with a hook. Duffy tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Walters throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Duffy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Walters stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Duffy gets a clinch.
Duffy tries to pull guard but Walters holds him up against the cage and eventually Duffy drops back down to his feet.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jackson Duffy. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Duffy jumps guard but Walters stands there with Duffy around his waist. Duffy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Duffy goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Duffy fails with a takedown attempt.
Walters moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Walters lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Duffy is looking to close the distance but Walters sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Duffy crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Duffy is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
