Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ae Firmeza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Phillips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Firmeza comes into the arena with not afraid blaring out of the sound system. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Firmeza swats away the attempt to clinch by Phillips.
Phillips is looking to clinch but Firmeza is avoiding it.
Phillips wants to clinch up but Firmeza keeps it at a distance.
Phillips doesn't manage to clinch there - Firmeza circles away.
Phillips lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Firmeza circles away quickly and effectively.
Phillips tries to clinch but Firmeza is having none of it.

Firmeza is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Phillips has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Firmeza is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Phillips is surviving well by controlling Firmeza's body position as best he can.

Firmeza thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Phillips is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Firmeza defends well.
Phillips is looking for a triangle but Firmeza pushes his legs off easily.
Phillips has his foot on Firmeza's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Firmeza works his way back into a safe position though.
Firmeza is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Phillips working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Firmeza doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Firmeza manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Firmeza is posturing up here but Phillips has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Firmeza tries to roll out but it's too tight and Firmeza has to tap! Slick submission there by Phillips!
