Monnelli is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Legenda - Where the Devils Dance. Neal Monnelli acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Neal Monnelli!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monnelli gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows John to score an easy takedown into full guard.
John trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Monnelli keeping full guard, as John tries to pass.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
John preventing the sweep.
John wants to pass the guard but Monnelli is keeping the position.
Monnelli tries to land a sweep but no joy.
John pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Monnelli is keeping the position for now.
Monnelli has his foot on John's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. John works his way back into a safe position though.
Monnelli manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
John has given up his back. Will we see Monnelli going for some submissions?
John tries to escape but Monnelli has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
That's one minute gone in the round.
John turns into Monnelli and is now in his guard.
John has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Monnelli to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! John is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Monnelli pulls down on the head and he's put John to sleep! This one is all over!
