Battery comes to the cage accompanied by Wife Beater. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson feints and as Battery raises his hands in defense, Johnson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Battery has his foot on Johnson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Johnson works his way back into a safe position though.
Johnson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Battery is proving hard to escape from.
