Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Liam Minard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Felix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minard comes to the cage accompanied by Walk. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Junior Felix!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Franklyn Lucas and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minard keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A nice combination there by Felix.
Felix shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Minard sprawls well. Minard wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Felix gets slowly back to his feet.
Minard displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Felix.
Minard misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Felix.
Felix will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Liam Minard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junior Felix.
Minard sizes up Felix with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Minard shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Felix napping and manages to drive through into side control!
You can see the frustration on Felix's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Felix parries the strikes from Minard easily there. Minard is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Felix to escape.
Sloppy strikes there by Minard.
Minard is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Felix's shoulder. That is not cool.
Minard has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Minard tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Minard has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Felix!
The referee warns Felix that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Felix is desperately trying to improve his position but Minard has a good base and remains in mount.
Minard lands a heavy elbow.
Minard thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Felix is looking to get to half guard.
Felix avoids a series of strikes thrown by Minard.

Minard prevents Felix from getting the reversal.

It looks like Junior Felix has been cut.

Felix wants to control but Minard is having none of it.
Minard throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Felix because Minard loaded up on that one.

Minard wants to control the pace but Felix is squirming around nicely.

Felix wants to hold on but Minard pushes him away.
Minard unloads with some shots from mount but Felix bucks and avoids them well.
Felix holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Minard tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Minard lands a heavy elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Felix is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Minard trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The cut above Junior Felix's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Junior Felix's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
