The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva scores with a nice body kick.
Silva blocks a head kick by Winchester.

Winchester gets a clinch.
Silva is trying to break the clinch but Winchester is controlling him.
Silva wants to break free but Winchester has control.

Winchester breaks the clinch.
Silva tries a head kick but it misses.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Winchester moves out of range easily.

Winchester shoots for a takedown but Silva saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Winchester moves into range and clinches up with Silva.
Silva wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Winchester prevents Silva from breaking the clinch.

Winchester breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Mirko Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Leonard Winchester has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oh Winchester is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A head kick by Silva - that's a beauty! Winchester is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Silva can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
