Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Badr Hari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zachary Krantz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Badr Hari could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Zachary Krantz's chin.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hari throws a series of punches but Krantz moves out of range.
Hari misses with a low kick.
Hari ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Krantz moves away.
Krantz scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Some wild striking there from Hari.

Krantz waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Hari. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Hari to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

It looks like Badr Hari has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Krantz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hari swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Krantz is pushing down on Hari's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hari is fighting to maintain full guard but Krantz has managed to sneak the leg through.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Hari is desperately trying to improve his position but Krantz has a good base and remains in mount.
Hari's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Hari is looking to get to half guard.
Krantz takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Krantz throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Let's hope that Krantz has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Krantz tries for a takedown but Hari sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Badr Hari has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zachary Krantz.
Hari dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Krantz. That did some damage!

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Hari here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Krantz's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Hari tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hari looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Krantz cracks Hari with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Hari from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Hari knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Krantz on the ground.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Krantz seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Hari's chin but Hari turns very nicely into Krantz's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Hari.

Krantz is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Hari can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Hari defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Krantz.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Krantz tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
