The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godoy just misses with a punch to the body.
Godoy throws a right and a left that both miss.
Boink pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Godoy blocks a jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Godoy. Boink does a little dance to reset his feet.
Boink misses with a few strikes there.
Boink throws a hook to the side of Godoy's head but Godoy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Godoy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

and Godoy counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Bouncy Boink has been cut.
Godoy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Boink counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Boink swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Godoy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Boink.

Godoy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Godoy takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Godoy is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Boink rather than just go for the knockout.

Carlos Godoy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
