Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yousaf Kurracon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tomasz Bystry!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurracon shoots in for a double leg but Bystry sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bystry looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kurracon.
Kurracon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tomasz Bystry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kurracon shoots in and bounces Bystry off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
Kurracon slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Kurracon seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bystry for as long as he can get away with.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Yousaf Kurracon just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Bystry throws a nice looking combination but Kurracon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Tomasz Bystry is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Kurracon shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kurracon was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Kurracon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bystry tries to avoid it but Kurracon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bystry to the ground. Bystry escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kurracon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bystry looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Kurracon works to advance to full mount. Bystry defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Kurracon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Bystry's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!



Kurracon shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bystry is trying to defend but Kurracon finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Bystry gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kurracon to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Kurracon is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Bystry's shoulder. That is not cool.

Kurracon closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bystry did well to prevent Kurracon getting side control.

Kurracon is taking a breather. Bystry says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Kurracon is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Bystry!

Horrible takedown by Kurracon or perhaps it was just good defense by Bystry which made him look bad.

Kurracon closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kurracon passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Bystry!
Kurracon tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Kurracon won't let Bystry get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Kurracon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Tomasz Bystry has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kurracon, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
