Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Liddle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Liddle's choice of entrance music: the theme. Chuck Liddle has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Fisher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chuck Liddle!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Liddle as he avoids it easily.
Fisher showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Liddle.
Liddle stuffs the takedown attempt from Fisher. Fisher gets slowly back to his feet.
Fisher avoids a punch combination nicely.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Liddle.
Liddle tries to stand but Fisher is controlling his head.
Liddle is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Fisher is trying to improve his position.
Liddle wants to stand but Fisher has his arm trapped.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fisher is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Liddle fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Liddle throws a head kick but Fisher moves out of range.

Liddle gets the takedown into side control.
Fisher is breathing heavily.
Liddle wants to stand but Fisher has his arm trapped.
Liddle working away.
Liddle wants to stand but Fisher is controlling his arm.
Liddle tries to stand but Fisher controls the position and pulls Liddle into his guard.
Liddle would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Fisher bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Liddle's guard.
Liddle wants to stand but Fisher is controlling the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Liddle keeping moving, preventing Fisher from controlling successfully.
Liddle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fisher. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Liddle wants to stand but Fisher is controlling the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Liddle lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Fisher backs up against the cage.

Liddle looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Fisher!
Fisher is looking to improve his position but Liddle isn't that keen on the idea.
Liddle tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
Liddle wants to control the pace but Fisher is squirming around nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fisher is trying to escape the mount.
Fisher bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Liddle wants to stand and escape but Fisher is having none of it.
Fisher passes Liddle's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Fisher is looking for a kimura but Liddle is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Fisher to get the leverage.

Fisher is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Liddle has managed to free his arm - good work.
Liddle tries to kick Fisher off but Fisher keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Fisher works his foot free and advances to mount.
Liddle squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Fisher has control of Liddle's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Liddle regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Liddle wants to get back to his feet but in bucking up he's left an arm hanging out! Fisher has locked onto it and has pulled off a slick armbar! Liddle taps furiously! This one is all over!
