Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ziggy House (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toni Turpa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). House comes to the ring accompanied by Thirteen . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turpa throws a big shot that misses.
The fighters circle momentarily. House darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A bone on bone clash there as Turpa blocks the leg kick.
A head kick misses from House.
Turpa avoids the head kick by House.
House misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Turpa.
House throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A looping hook to the body misses from House. Turpa does a little dance to reset his feet.
House with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
House takes a swing at Turpa's ribcage but misses.

Turpa darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Turpa wants to work for an arm triangle but House is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Turpa is trying to control the action in half guard but House is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
House wants to improve his position but Turpa is controlling well.
Turpa missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Turpa tries to pass to full mount but House defends it.
Turpa is looking to take a break and control but House is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Turpa seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Turpa thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed House's head.
House wants to get back to full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Turpa takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A head kick misses from House.
House throws a leg kick which misses Turpa's front leg but catches the back leg as Turpa tries to avoid it.

Turpa clinches up with House and pushes him back against the ropes.
Turpa goes for a takedown in the clinch but House prevents it.
House wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
House prevents a takedown attempt there.

House escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Turpa checks a low kick from House.
House will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Turpa darts in and clinches House up against the ropes.
House is trying to break the clinch but Turpa is controlling him.
Turpa swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Turpa is trying to trip House. He has hold of a leg but House is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Turpa persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Turpa looking to pass the guard.
Turpa postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Turpa wants to control from the top but House keeps moving.
House knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Turpa on the ground.

House looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Turpa prevents House from getting back to his feet.
Turpa trying to control the position from guard on top but House is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Toni Turpa dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


House stuffs the takedown attempt from Turpa. Turpa gets slowly back to his feet.
Turpa on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by House. House obviously looking to wear him down.
House dives in and grabs Turpa's left leg, looking for a takedown. Turpa pushes down on House's head and hops out.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Turpa.
House scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
House lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Turpa shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has House pinned against the cage. House gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Turpa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but House was well out of range. Poor timing from Turpa.

and Turpa counters with a nice double leg into side control. House won't be happy with that.
House is letting Turpa control him for a moment.

Turpa tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Turpa has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Turpa is breathing heavily.
House avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Turpa.
Turpa wants to lay and pray for a moment but House keeps working.

Turpa tries for a kimura but House is defending well.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
House is looking for a sweep.

Turpa thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Turpa tries to move into full mount but can't pass House's legs.
Turpa trying to control the action but House is working from the bottom.
Turpa tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Turpa blocks a low kick nicely.
Turpa swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Turpa stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from House.

House wants to get back to full guard.
House trying to control from the bottom.
Turpa content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Turpa wants to take a breather but House is having none of it.
Turpa stalling.

Turpa is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
House throws a nice head kick!
Turpa checks the leg kick nicely there.
Turpa works the jab nicely.
Turpa takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Turpa moves out of range as House throws a body kick.
House thows a leg kick but Turpa checks it
and Turpa connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Toni Turpa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


House rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Turpa moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Turpa checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Turpa shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. House is trying to defend but Turpa finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

House is trying to stand.
House keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Turpa is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so House is just riding it out for now. Turpa eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
House is staying active underneath Turpa, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
House misses with a low kick.
House thumps Turpa with a low kick.
House tries to grapple but his opponent circles

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Turpa wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

House gets caught flat footed, as Turpa shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
House is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Turpa passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Ziggy House has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Turpa is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, House has escaped the position, nice work there.
House gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Toni Turpa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Turpa winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
