The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Flaim as he avoids it easily.
A telegraphed right hand from Flaim misses the target.

Flaim stalks Hernandez and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hernandez's face. Hernandez staggers backwards, shaken.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Flaim lands a nice short elbow.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hernandez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Flaim swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Flaim shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hernandez sprawls well. Hernandez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Flaim gets slowly back to his feet.

The fighters circle momentarily. Flaim darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
