Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil DeBlunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jared Kreegans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DeBlunt comes to the cage accompanied by Westside Connection - Bow Down. Jared Kreegans is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Phil DeBlunt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jared Kreegans!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kreegans defending well as DeBlunt loads up on a big left hand.
Kreegans closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Kreegans throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Kreegans wants to lay and pray for a moment but DeBlunt keeps working.
Kreegans working the strikes but DeBlunt uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Kreegans looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Kreegans missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
DeBlunt wants to improve his position but Kreegans is controlling well.
Kreegans trying to control from half guard but DeBlunt is working away.
Kreegans might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control DeBlunt kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
DeBlunt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kreegans.
Kreegans uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by DeBlunt.
DeBlunt swats away the attempt to clinch by Kreegans.
Kreegans dives in and grabs DeBlunt's left leg, looking for a takedown. DeBlunt pushes down on Kreegans's head and hops out.
Kreegans closes the distance and clinches up with DeBlunt, looking for a takedown. Kreegans pushes DeBlunt against the cage but DeBlunt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Phil DeBlunt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jared Kreegans.
DeBlunt stuffs the takedown attempt from Kreegans. Kreegans gets slowly back to his feet.
Kreegans tries to clinch there but DeBlunt circles away.
DeBlunt lands a nice shot that snaps Kreegans's head back.
It looks like Jared Kreegans has been cut.
DeBlunt lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
DeBlunt throws a body punch but Kreegans moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
DeBlunt cracks Kreegans with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Kreegans tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but DeBlunt pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Kreegans is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Phil DeBlunt!
