The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Puchacz.
Henderson throws a hook but Puchacz blocks it.

Puchacz dives in and grabs Henderson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Henderson pushes down on Puchacz's head and hops out.

Henderson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Puchacz.

Henderson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Puchacz.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Puchacz takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Henderson goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Henderson finds Puchacz's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Puchacz flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Henderson lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Puchacz will be OK.
