The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nara looks to land a combination but Li avoids it well.
Li avoids the body shot from Nara.
A punch combination from Nara misses.
Li looks to score with a jab to the body but Nara is just out of range.

Nara drops Li with a beautiful combination! Li stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Nara is looking for the KO!

It looks like Jet Li has been cut.
Li throws a jab but it's blocked by Nara.
Li swings for the body but Nara moves out of range.
Li is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nara.
Li throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nara swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A big left from Nara misses.
Shin Nara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Li takes a swing at Nara's ribcage but misses.
Li throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Donk. Nara catches Li right on the button with a cross.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nara swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A shot to the body from Li misses
and Nara counters with a two punch combo.
Li is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Nara rather than just go for the knockout.
Nara avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Nara lands a left and a right that send Li crashing to the mat, dazed. Nara thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Li is rocked!

That has opened up Jet Li's cut even more.
Li misses the shot to the body.
Li is still on wobbly legs! Can Nara finish him?
Li misses with a wild body shot.
Li seems to have recovered his senses.
Nara jabs Li right on the nose. Li blinks but takes it well.

The cut above Jet Li's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Li misses the jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Li fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nara manages to avoid it.
Nara lands a hook that stumbles Li back into the ropes. Nara follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Li to the canvas! Nara pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Li has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Shin Nara!
