The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cortes tries to land a leg kick but Matheus saw it coming and moves away.
Cortes throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Cortes cracks Matheus on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Matheus falls backwards against the cage. Cortes follows up with more strikes that drop Matheus to his knees. Cortes keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Matheus! This one is all over!
