Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gino Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xavier Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramirez comes to the cage accompanied by Go to sleep. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Fernandez misses its intended target.
Fernandez throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ramirez sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Ramirez throws a series of punches but Fernandez avoids them all with ease.
Fernandez throws a jab when Ramirez was well out of range.
Ramirez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fernandez tries to avoid it but Ramirez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fernandez to the ground. Fernandez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Xavier Fernandez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ramirez, right into the meat.
Fernandez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ramirez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Ramirez shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ramirez was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fernandez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ramirez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
