Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zabdiel Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Bash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bash throws an overhand right that lands on Duran's shoulder, as Duran tries to avoid the shot.
Bash thows a body shot but no joy.
Bash misses with a two punch combination.

Duran gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Duran trying to control the position.
Bash missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Duran looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Duran trying to keep a closed guard but Bash is proving a slippery customer.

Bash seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Duran knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bash on the ground.
Bash postures up in Duran's guard and throws a big left but Duran blocks it.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Bash has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Bash throwing strikes but Duran manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Bash pushes Duran away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Duran gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bash throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Duran sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bash tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Duran was well out of range. Poor timing from Bash.
Duran leaves Bash with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Bash tries to clinch up but Duran circles away and keeps his distance.
Duran takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Bash throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Duran's waist but Duran gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bash off to one side.

Bash tries to close the distance and clinch but Duran swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Zabdiel Duran will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Duran tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Bash is able to avoid easily.

Duran bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bash is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Duran.
Duran fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bash.

Bash takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Duran lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bash has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bash and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Bash misses the shot to the body.
Bash throws a lazy right hand but Duran sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Duran throws a solid leg kick but Bash takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Duran.

Duran slaps away a takedown attempt from Bash, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Duran tries to work over Bash's front leg with a kick but Bash checks it.

Bash lands a jab to Duran's midsection.
Bash's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Bash checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Bash ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Duran moves away.
Bash throws a right and a left that Duran avoids nicely.

Bash feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jon Bash comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Bash has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
