Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corey Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller has chosen No Limit Soldier as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Miller or perhaps it was just good defense by Silva which made him look bad.
Miller closes the distance and pushes Silva back into the cage.
Miller's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Miller tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Silva paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Miller sprawls well. Miller wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
Miller misses with a takedown
and Silva counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Miller's guard now.
Silva wants to pass the guard but Miller is keeping the position.
Silva is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Miller keeping moving, preventing Silva from controlling successfully.

Silva drops back looking for a leg! Miller is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Miller manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Miller's guard.

Silva wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving.
Silva working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Miller tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Silva counters with a shoot takedown. Miller fights it but they end up in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silva trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Silva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Miller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Miller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Silva slips nicely into half guard.
Silva wants to control but Miller is keeping him busy.
Silva looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Silva is breathing heavily.

Silva seems to be working for a kimura but Miller defends the submission attempt.
Miller is trying to maintain the position but Silva is very close to passing his half guard.
Silva blocks the strikes from Miller.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Miller is trying to get back to full guard.
Silva seems to be looking for submissions.
Miller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Miller manages to get to full guard.
Miller wants to stand and escape but Silva is having none of it.
Miller is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Silva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Silva dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Miller tries to clinch but Silva moves away
and Silva counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Silva.
Silva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Silva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Miller has his foot on Silva's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Silva works his way back into a safe position though.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Miller doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Silva counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Miller is refusing to be controlled, as Silva sits in half guard.
Silva in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Miller tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Silva!
