Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Amin Sax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xavi Fernando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sax comes to the cage accompanied by Infected Mushroom - Smashing The Opponent. Xavi Fernando has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernando stuffs the takedown attempt from Sax. Sax gets slowly back to his feet.
Sax shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fernando pinned against the cage. Fernando gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sax looks for a takedown but Fernando sprawls well.

Fernando is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Sax gets his way!

Fernando is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Sax off. It looks like it's working - Sax slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Fernando displaying calm under pressure there.

Fernando moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Sax walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Sax is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Fernando's half guard.
Sax wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fernando keeps working.
Fernando looks like he's trying to stand up.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Fernando drops Sax with a beautiful combination! Sax stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Fernando is looking for the KO!

It looks like Amin Sax has been cut.
Fernando throws a right and a left that both miss.
Fernando tries to close the distance and clinch but Sax swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fernando bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sax's head backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Amin Sax seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fernando with a nice cross.
Fernando connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Sax! He's out on his feet! Fernando rushes in and drops Sax with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
