The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaPlaguea misses with the combination.
Faber shoots in looking for a takedown. LaPlaguea tries to sprawl out of it but Faber keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. LaPlaguea manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
LaPlaguea fails with a takedown attempt.
Faber shoots in for a takedown but LaPlaguea shows good takedown defense.

Faber drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

LaPlaguea is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
LaPlaguea is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Faber is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
