Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gomi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jones looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A clash of legs there as Jones blocks the low kick.
Jones throws a series of punches but Gomi moves out of range.
Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Gomi won't allow Jones to pass to mount.
Gomi pushes Jones off looking to stand but Jones dives back in and keeps control.

Jones is looking for a kimura here.

Jones is looking for a kimura but Gomi is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jones to get the leverage.

Jones stops Gomi from getting back to his feet.

Jones has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Gomi defend it? Jones steps over the head and cranks it - Gomi is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Jones!
