The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sanchez bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sanchez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Oji ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sanchez moves away.
Oji misses with a two punch combination.
No luck for Sanchez with that takedown attempt.
Tunde Kareem Oji has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Julio Sanchez.
Oji rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sanchez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sanchez displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Oji throws out the jab.

Sanchez postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Oji is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sanchez, into his guard.
