Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sayid Jarrah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kakaroto Sayajin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sayajin is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Riot - Three Days Grace. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jarrah connects with a high kick.
Jarrah scoring well with a low kick there.
Sayajin blocks a head kick by Jarrah.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Jarrah, right into the meat.
Jarrah tries to clinch there but Sayajin circles away.
Sayajin shoots in for a takedown but Jarrah shows good takedown defense.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jarrah accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Crunch! Jarrah slams his shin into Sayajin's torso.

Jarrah wants to control from the top but Sayajin keeps moving.

Sayajin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jarrah doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jarrah manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Sayajin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jarrah defends it easily.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sayajin can do anything to dispel that myth.

Jarrah postures up in Sayajin's guard and throws a big left but Sayajin blocks it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jarrah closes the distance looking to clinch
and Sayajin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Jarrah wants to clinch up but Sayajin keeps it at a distance.

A head kick from Jarrah lands but Sayajin takes it in his stride.

Nice sprawl there from Jarrah as Sayajin shoots in.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jarrah is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sayajin is controlling him.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jarrah is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's time! Jarrah's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Sayajin has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Jarrah.

Jarrah changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sayajin tries to avoid it but Jarrah manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sayajin to the ground. Sayajin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Sayajin has Jarrah pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Sayajin pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jarrah tumbling to the mat - Sayajin dives into Jarrah's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sayajin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jarrah is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jarrah has escaped and now he's on top!
