Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chance Silver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane takedown!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
takedown shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silver but Silver pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Shane takedown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
takedown has a takedown stuffed.

Silver gets caught flat footed, as takedown shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

takedown stands and steps away. Silver gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

takedown gets a takedown into half guard.

takedown decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
takedown tries to clinch but Silver moves out of range.
takedown fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
takedown looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
takedown throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

takedown gets a takedown into half guard.
takedown looks gassed!
takedown trying to mount his opponent but Silver defends it.
Silver wants to control but takedown is keeping busy.
takedown is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Silver reverses the position - he's now on top in takedown's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silver sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed takedown's guard.

takedown is trying to stand back up but Silver is controlling him

Silver is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

takedown kicks Silver off and gets back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shane takedown dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


takedown rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silver moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Horrible takedown by takedown or perhaps it was just good defense by Silver which made him look bad.

Silver shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Silver showed some decent athleticism there.
takedown wants to stand back up but Silver manages to pass into side control.
takedown tries to buck Silver off but Silver is having none of it.

Silver is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. takedown knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Silver is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but takedown is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Silver working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
takedown tries to escape but Silver is in control.

takedown looking for a sweep but Silver has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Silver is standing up, even though he is in mount.

and Silver counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
takedown is breathing heavily.

takedown escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

so Silver counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chance Silver dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

and Silver counters with a shoot takedown. takedown fights it but they end up in guard.
Silver is pushing down on takedown's leg trying to pass to half guard. takedown is fighting to maintain full guard but Silver has managed to sneak the leg through.
takedown wants to get back to full guard.

Silver is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Silver controlling the pace.

takedown is looking to control Silver's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can takedown avoid being mounted?
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
takedown manages to get to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
takedown looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Silver puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
takedown is trying to get back to full guard.
takedown wants to get back to full guard but Silver has passed into side control.
takedown wants to control but Silver is having none of it.
takedown is in all sorts of trouble here.
takedown is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Silver has taken his back!

And that's the end of the fight!
Chance Silver showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Silver has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
