The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders misses the shot to the body.
Brown throws a body punch but Sanders moves out of range.
Brown defending well as Sanders loads up on a big left hand.
Brown looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sanders shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Brown counters with a takedown into side control.
Brown moves into full mount!
Brown tries to control but Sanders wriggling away.
Sanders keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Brown wants to control the pace but Sanders is squirming around nicely.

Brown goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Sanders is on top in guard.

Brown throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Brown wants to sweep but no luck.

Brown had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sanders defends it easily.
Sanders trying to control but Brown is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sanders avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Sanders gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Sanders tests Brown's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Sanders looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Brown!
Brown looks gassed!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Brown is looking to get to half guard.
Brown is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Brown throws up some feeble strikes from the bottom. Sanders smiles and locks on to an arm, pivoting beautifully as he drops to the side for an armbar. Brown tries momentarily to escape but he knows he's done and taps furiously to avoid injury. Confident submission skills displayed there by Sanders.
