Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Richlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sascha Kroener (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kroener has chosen Eisblume - Eisblumen as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Frank Richlin could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sascha Kroener's chin.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kroener will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kroener lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Richlin circles away quickly and effectively.
Richlin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Richlin scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Frank Richlin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Richlin swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Kroener counters with a shoot takedown. Richlin fights it but they end up in guard.
Richlin keeping moving, preventing Kroener from controlling successfully.
Kroener trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Kroener trying to control the position from guard on top but Richlin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Kroener drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Richlin manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kroener has Richlin in his guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kroener slips under a jab from Richlin.

Kroener shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Richlin manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Kroener trying to move into half guard but instead Richlin has managed to sweep!
Richlin won't allow Kroener to get back to his feet.
Kroener looking to hit a scissor sweep but Richlin is one step ahead there.

Kroener is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Richlin is aware though and is defending well.
Kroener looks gassed!
Kroener tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Richlin gets to his feet. Kroener looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Richlin cracks Kroener with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

It looks like Sascha Kroener has been cut.
Kroener shoots in for a takedown but Richlin shows good takedown defense.
Kroener avoids a punch combination nicely.

Richlin lands a big uppercut and Kroener crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Kroener looks OK. Richlin waves Kroener back to his feet!

Kroener is rocked!

Richlin swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Kroener decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Richlin's guard.
Richlin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kroener on the ground.

Richlin wants to stand up but Kroener is controlling him.
Kroener seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kroener is looking to advance position but Richlin has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Kroener is looking to improve his position but Richlin isn't that keen on the idea.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Richlin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

A big right followed by a crushing left from Richlin knocks Kroener out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
