Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Akihira Kondo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kosuke Soseki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Akihira Kondo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akihira Kondo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kosuke Soseki!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soseki lands a nice shot to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Soseki, as that shot connected.
Soseki dips to his left and cracks Kondo with an uppercut!
Kondo has a takedown stuffed.
Kondo closes the distance and clinches up with Soseki, looking for a takedown. Kondo pushes Soseki against the cage but Soseki circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kondo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Soseki's waist but Soseki gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kondo off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Akihira Kondo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Soseki clinches with his opponent.
Soseki gets through Kondo's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Kondo takes an elbow to the temple.
Soseki lands a right hand.
Soseki lands a nice elbow.
Kondo is rocked!
It looks like Akihira Kondo has been cut.
Soseki lands a damaging elbow.
Oh Kondo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Soseki gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Soseki creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Kondo with a big uppercut! Kondo tries to clinch up but Soseki pushes him back against the cage and lands another moster strike that crumples Kondo to the mat! Kondo covers up and Soseki unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Kosuke Soseki!
