Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Travis Pintravon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jay ar Ginebra!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Pintravon.
Ginebra looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Pintravon moves into the clinch.
Ginebra can't break the clinch.
Pintravon tries for a takedown but Ginebra manages to get underhooks.
Pintravon breaks the clinch.
Ginebra closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Pintravon is trying to get back to half guard.
Ginebra working away.
Pintravon is looking for a sweep.
Pintravon is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Ginebra is controlling him well.
Ginebra throws a strike aimed at the side of Pintravon's head but Pintravon avoids it well.
Pintravon wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Ginebra decides to stand back up. Ginebra steps back and let's Pintravon get back to his feet.
Pintravon lands a high kick!
It looks like Jay ar Ginebra has been cut.
Pintravon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ginebra shoots in for a double leg but Pintravon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Travis Pintravon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pintravon has closed the distance and engaged Ginebra in a clinch.
Pintravon manages to break the clinch.

Pintravon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Pintravon lands a left and a right that send Ginebra crashing to the mat, dazed. Pintravon thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Ginebra is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pintravon ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Ginebra's jaw. Ginebra's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Pintravon does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Travis Pintravon!
