Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Wayne Parr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francois Ducati (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parr comes to the cage accompanied by Remedy. The key to victory for John Wayne Parr has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Francois Ducati!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Sano and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parr stuffs the takedown.
Ducati fails to land the takedown.
Ducati closes the distance and clinches up with Parr, looking for a takedown. Ducati pushes Parr against the cage but Parr circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Parr pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ducati shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Parr sprawls well. Parr wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ducati gets slowly back to his feet.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ducati is defended easily by Parr.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Ducati moves out of range of the body kick.
Parr tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Parr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Parr misses with a kick to the body.
Parr throws a half hearted mid kick.
Ducati shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Parr looks to land a body kick but Ducati moved away.
Parr pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Parr. Ducati shrugs it off though.

Ducati changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Parr tries to avoid it but Ducati manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Parr to the ground. Parr escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ducati shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Parr sprawls well. Parr wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ducati gets slowly back to his feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ducati tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Parr swivels and escapes.

Ducati shoots in looking for a takedown. Parr tries to sprawl out of it but Ducati keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Parr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ducati fails to land the takedown.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Parr throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Ducati shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Parr as he jumps to the side.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Parr misses with a head kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Ducati misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ducati shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Parr as he jumps to the side.

Parr pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Ducati tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Parr swivels and escapes.

Parr throws a sloppy head kick and Ducati moves out of range easily.
Parr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Parr delivers a nice body kick.

Ducati closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Ducati tries to pass to full mount but Parr defends it.
Parr wants to get back to his feet.
Francois Ducati has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Ducati is trying to control the action in half guard but Parr is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Parr won't allow Ducati to pass to mount.
Ducati controlling the pace.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Ducati has a takedown stuffed.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ducati throws out a loose jab but Parr uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ducati misses with a body shot.
John Wayne Parr is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Parr misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

I would just about give that final round to Francois Ducati.
I think Parr has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
